GIC #CODETOIMPACT2026 - One of the memorable experience!!

I somehow came home from a whole hackathon with almost no photos 😂 Not even a proper photo with my own team because apparently most of them are somewhere in GIC’s camera roll HAHAHA. Maybe I will post this properly again(?).. So here’s what I managed to collect! Our Team 01 placed 3rd at GIC #CodeToImpact! 🥉 Honestly, I didn’t expect to learn this much from just one day. I came into the hackathon with some self-studied finance knowledge, but actually getting to work with a team, make decisions, try things, get things wrong, and see the results was a completely different experience. The problem statement it honestly very new for me, and I found it VERY interesting!! We definitely had our ups and downs throughout the trading sessions 😂 but that was probably my favourite part. There was always something to figure out, question, or improve, and I really enjoyed the process. More than anything, the day made me realise that I genuinely enjoy the mix of maths, data, technology and decision-making. I still have a lot to learn about finance, but now I’m even more excited to keep exploring it. Really grateful to my teammates for making the day so much fun, and to our mentor for being so patient with all our questions. Also a huge thank you to everyone at GIC who put so much effort into organising the whole experience! Really happy I got to be part of this. Thank you GIC for the experience 💚
